One State, Two State, Red State, Blue State, CCL’S current show, completes its run on November 29th Wed and Thur at 7:30pm
Fri at 8pm
Sat at 8pm and 10pm Chicago City Limits, NYC's legendary improvisational comedy show, hits the campaign trail with its latest improvisational comedy revue, "One State, Two State, Red State, Blue State". The show combines great political sketch comedy with audience-inspired improvisations. Each night the CCL cast takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of the faces, places and events of the 2008 election, making a number of unscheduled stops off the beaten campaign trail as well. There's lots of audience participation in One State: live debates between the candidates with audiences providing the caustic questions; a custom-made Broadway Musicals based on an audience member's recent experience; an improvised version of the game show Jeopardy; staged reenactments of great plays that were never written; and a whole lot of family-friendly fun.
