Perfect Crime, written by Warren Manzi and directed by Jeffrey Hyatt, is both a traditional mystery thriller and a character-driven drama, with a sexy, Harvard-educated psychiatrist accused of bumping off her wealthy husband.
The play is set in a sleepy Connecticut town where the potential murderess conducts her practice out of her secluded mansion. The handsome detective, assigned to the case, seeks to discover who murdered the husband, if he was murdered at all, while fending off the wife's seductions and an attack from her crazed cross-dressing patient.
Catherine Russell who plays the main character, has missed only 4 of nearly 8000 performances.
